Movenpick Restaurant in Muenster

Unfortunately we weren't satisfied at all today. The veal medallions with their side dishes swam in a watery sauce and were overall very tasteless. The potato hash browns were cold and also tasteless. An ordered salad was okay, but we had to order extra dressing to make it a little tastier. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she apologized and immediately offered cappuccino or dessert on the house. The cappuciono that was then brought ironically tasted so strongly of burnt beans / old coffee grounds that it was not drinkable! The next table also complained about its dishes. Something is going really wrong in the kitchen of the Mövenpick Restaurant at the moment and we will unfortunately only be back when the quality has improved significantly. For the price the food was intolerable today!

Pay close attention to hygiene (also related to Covid-19). Employees disinfect tables and chairs abundantly and are very friendly. Ice cream was delicious!

We were regulars at the Mövenpick Restaurant for a long time. The location not far from the Aasee is really nice, especially to sit outside in the summer months. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes has steadily deteriorated. We will no longer go to the restaurant. The beef burger was an impertinence. The meat is dry, the fries are totally greasy and fry for far too long. Even at McDonalds, you would get a better burger. For the "Pappardelle" daily dish with wild mushrooms, the restaurant understands wild mushrooms as champingnons, oyster mushrooms and herb mushrooms. Of the last two mushroom groups mentioned, less than 3% were on the plate (almost non-existent, a joke!). Actually there were almost only pasta on the plate. Good money that you can better invest with the small but fine Italian in the city center. In addition, the Mövenpick gastronomy is characterized by the fact that it refuses to accept any criticism or demand or to make excuses for everything. Since we experienced a similar disappointment months ago, it can be assumed that this has nothing to do with the current situation. In any case, the restaurant management could / should have reacted differently. Pity! It used to be a top restaurant.

Excellent buffet breakfast, rich and varied. Pleasant and elegant environment. Surrounded by greenery!
